Can we talk about this for a second?

Are you not sick and tired of being miserable or full of anxiety? I’m not saying you need to “turn that frown upside down” (because that’s bullshit) but for the love of god cheer up, you dick. Just out of the shear fact that you have the ability to read this blog, you already hit the lotto. You’re wasting time you could be using to create opportunity by moping around the couch leaving behind nothing but crumbs.

After all you’ve been through, what’s holding you back?

Have you ever wasted an entire day playing video games or watching a TV show only to leave yourself with an empty feeling asking yourself, “Why didn’t I do anything?”? What if you did that with life? I’m not the biggest fan of running but I ran a 5k this year and nothing has given me a deeper feeling of satisfaction than putting in the work to defeat that 3.1 miles (regardless that I walked a shit ton..). At the end when you get to rest your aching body, there isn’t a feeling as beautiful. I challenge you to apply that theory to your day, week, month, year, and life. Make the bed, read a book, get a job that doesn’t suck, find a partner, buy that shit you’ve always wanted, and for fucks sake please treat yourself with some respect.

You deserve it.

I’m continually trying to make choices that put me against my own comfort zone. As long as you’re uncomfortable, it means you’re growing.

You’re not alone. Please have a conversation with someone about your feelings. You can choose to deal with it or not but I bet you’ll feel 100% better once you’re in charge. Make yourself healthy.
